NAPA HOUSE
Napa earns its name. White board-and-batten, a dark metal roof, and vineyards rolling to the hills in every direction, a house that belongs exactly where it sits.
Inside, the vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams sets the tone immediately. The living room is built around a marble fireplace flanked by full-height built-in shelving, warm and considered without trying too hard. The kitchen is one of Napa's strongest spaces, a large dark oak island, rattan pendants, taupe cabinetry, and a professional range that means business.
The primary suite is the one that stops people. Doors open directly onto a private deck overlooking the vineyard, with a marble fireplace on one side and a bathroom that keeps the same calm, a freestanding tub centred in front of a full-height window, looking out at open sky.
Outside, a pool surrounded by lavender, a covered outdoor kitchen with pergola, and a fire pit with the vineyard stretching out behind. Three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, pantry, mudroom, home office, and two-car garage. Napa is built for long weekends that turn into something longer.
